Rob studied Law at the University of Newcastle-Upon-Tyne, and was elected as the University’s Vice-Master of Mooting. He competed at national level, reaching the Quarter-Finals of the English Speaking Union Mooting Competition. Rob completed the Bar Vocational Course in July 2007 before spending two years as a County Court Advocate, representing clients in a range of Housing matters as well as bankruptcy petitions, infant settlements and small claims trials. Rob joined Miles and Partners in October 2009 as assistant to Amanda Dench, focusing on public law care proceedings and child abduction cases under the Hague Convention.
