Admitted 2004 - Simon has experience of housing cases at all levels up to and including the Court of Appeal in possession proceedings, defending injunction applications under the Housing Act 1996, homelessness appeals and judicial review of local authority decisions on homelessness entitlement and allocation determinations, actions for disrepair and TLATA applications. Simon regularly conducts the advocacy in his own cases and in April 2008, he was awarded the Law Society’s Higher Rights of Audience qualification, which allows him to conduct his own advocacy in the High Court and Appeal Courts. Simon also speaks French and Portuguese.
